Looks like an awesome trip! I obviously think you should come by Tampa, but that seems a bit out of the way. I think while you are in Utah you should try to see Bryce Canyon around sunset, it is supposed to be gorgeous, and apparently you can see more stars there than almost anywhere else in the world. It is not far from Zion. We stopped there on my crazy road trip, but didn't stay late enough for the stars. I am kind of jealous, you are going to some awesome places that I have never been :((( I think you will really love Grand Canyon and Zion. They are absolutely gorgeous and amazing and awesome. Just be prepared in case it is hot as hell as they are kind of in the middle of a dessert. Maybe you could see Hoover Dam while near Grand Canyon, it is seriously pretty awesome. I heard the best view of Grand Canyon (that most photos are from) is from the north rim, but it looks like you are going to the south rim from your little map. Just a suggestion, although it might be a bit out of the way, unless you went from Zion to North Rim then around the southern side (maybe see it from south rim the next day) go up historic rt 66 a bit, over hoover dam and into vegas. That would put you right on track to go to death valley and up through cali, but might cut out joshua tree. San Fransisco is absolutely one of my favorite cities in America. Are you ending up there? this is kind of "rant-y" anyways. it looks awesome!!
